Nice to meet you!
We are a freshwater-first aquarium brand built around connected care. We bring supported technology, clear guidance and human support together to help aquarium keepers make everyday care feel clearer, calmer and better connected.
-
“Connected care” is Jollyfish’s approach to aquarium technology.
It means:
Using a smart aquarium controller and app only where they make daily care clearer
Bringing heating schedules, lighting schedules and comprehensive management with useful guidance into one place
Helping you notice and understand your tank - while you stay in control
AquaMaestro is the platform that makes this possible. You start with simple app-based control of heating and lighting, and can grow into more features when your aquarium needs them.
About Jollyfish
About AquaMaestro App
-
AquaMaestro is Jollyfish’s smart aquarium control platform. It helps aquarium keepers schedule, monitor, automate and better understand supported aquarium routines from one connected app, starting with simple control and expanding through compatible controllers and modules.
-
It is a platform. The AquaMaestro range includes Lite, Plus and Pro controllers, optional extension modules and app-based software features. Exact capabilities depend on the controller, modules and confirmed software features selected.
-
No!
AquaMaestro can automate supported schedules and routines where confirmed, but it is not designed to replace responsible aquarium care. Guidance and sensitive actions should remain user review or approval where required.
-
The AquaMaestro aquarium app can support scheduling and control for functions such as heating, lighting, feeding, liquid dosing, plant nutrient dosing and CO₂ routines, depending on the controller, connected modules and compatible equipment. Not every function is available on every model.
-
Yes! Lights, Heaters and CO₂ are all integrated in app.
Where the relevant equipment and AquaMaestro controller or modules are compatible. The purpose of the platform is to bring supported routines into one clearer system, but compatibility must be confirmed for the exact equipment being connected.
-
Yes!
AquaMaestro can bring available temperature, pH and other supported readings together with schedules and routines in the app. The exact data shown depends on the controller, modules and sensors in use.
-
Yes!
App-based scheduling and time-of-day routines are core AquaMaestro concepts. The exact schedules and devices you can control depend on the controller and connected equipment.
-
Brand and model of your current equipment;
The aquarium type and size;
The routines you want to control;
Any probes, dosers or smart devices already in use.
That gives Jollyfish the information needed to confirm what can connect and what cannot.
-
No.
AquaMaestro provides supported control, monitoring and guidance. But it DOES NOT GUARANTEE animal health, plant growth, perfect water conditions or the prevention of loss. Aquarium conditions still need responsible care and review.
AquaMaestro Species & Plant Guidance
-
It is an app-based guidance feature that lets users select the fish, other aquatic creatures and plants in their aquarium.
AquaMaestro can then provide feedback, suggested target ranges and suggested actions for the user to review, depending on the data and features available.
-
The app has a drop-down list of different Species & Plant.
You select or enter the livestock and plants in the aquarium. The app can compare approved profile information with available readings, schedules and aquarium data, then surface relevant feedback, possible conflicts and actions for review where those functions are supported.
-
No.
It is just guidance, not a diagnosis or a replacement for aquatic, veterinary or plant-health expertise.
It can help users review available data and suggested target ranges, but it should not claim to identify disease, nutrient deficiency or a guaranteed cause.
-
No!
It is designed to make aquarium information easier to understand, not to replace responsible care or advice from qualified aquatic specialists, breeders, veterinarians, aquascapers or plant specialists when expert help is needed.
-
Yes, where supported.
It can help users review plant-related target ranges and may suggest actions around nutrients, CO₂ and lighting alongside the needs of fish and other livestock. Any physical changes still depend on compatible hardware and appropriate user review.
-
Where the conflict-warning feature is confirmed, AquaMaestro can highlight potential differences or overlaps in the target ranges of selected fish, aquatic creatures and plants. It should present these as issues for review, not as a guarantee of compatibility.
Choosing Your Aquamaestro
-
LITE is the entry-level option for simple app-based heating and lighting schedules, with basic Species & Plant Guidance where supported.
PLUS is for growing setups that need more flexible scheduling, selected module expansion and richer guidance using additional aquarium data where available.
PRO is the most advanced controller, built for broader automation and compatible modules such as automatic water testing, feeding, liquid dosing, CO2 control and probe monitoring. Feature availability depends on the controller, software and compatible modules selected.
-
The suitable aquarium controller for you depends on the routines you need:
AquaMaestro Lite: Simpler control - heating and lighting schedules from the app, plus guidance you review
AquaMaestro Plus: Growing setups that may need selected expansion
AquaMaestro Pro: Widest supported automation and module options
Use an AquaMaestro Lite vs Plus vs Pro comparison to confirm exact features before purchase.
-
For a beginner, a simple aquarium may be well served by basic, reliable equipment and consistent care.
A controller becomes more useful when you want clearer scheduling, fewer separate controls and monitoring. A system you can expand as the aquarium becomes more demanding.
-
If you are just starting, choose the essential equipment first - tank, filter, heater and light. Then choose a controller based on the routines you actually need to manage.
You do not need full automation from day one. With AquaMaestro, the controller already includes the app and a temperature sensor. Many new keepers start with AquaMaestro Lite for simple heating and lighting schedules, then expand later with Plus, Pro or compatible modules if the tank needs more.
-
Yes!
AquaMaestro is designed as a scalable platform, so you can start with simpler control and add compatible capabilities later. Expansion still depends on the controller, module compatibility and the confirmed features available for your setup.
-
The AquaMaestro aquarium app can support scheduling and control for functions such as heating, lighting, feeding, liquid dosing, plant nutrient dosing and CO₂ routines, depending on the controller, connected modules and compatible equipment. Not every function is available on every model.
-
Upgrade when a specific aquarium-care need appears, such as too many separate timers, a need for better monitoring, or a new dosing or testing routine. Start with the problem, then add only the controller or module capability that solves it.
