Term of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These Terms apply to purchases made through jollyfi.sh and, where relevant, the use of Jollyfish AquaMaestro products, software and connected services.
Nothing in these Terms limits or removes your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. About Jollyfish
Jollyfish is the brand behind AquaMaestro, our connected aquarium control system.
2. Products and AquaMaestro
Our store may include:
AquaMaestro controllers;
compatible aquarium equipment;
extension modules;
sensors and probes;
aquarium lighting and temperature-control products;
feeding, testing, dosing and equipment-control products;
consumables and reagents; and
AquaMaestro app and digital features.
Not every AquaMaestro product supports every feature.
Functionality may depend on:
the controller selected;
compatible modules;
connected equipment;
software or app version; and
available aquarium data.
Customers should check the information for the exact product before ordering.
3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that:
product descriptions;
images;
specifications;
compatibility information;
prices; and
availability
are accurate.
Goods supplied by Jollyfish must comply with applicable consumer law, including requirements relating to:
satisfactory quality;
fitness for purpose; and
description.
We will not use these Terms to exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Pricing
The total price payable will be shown before you place your order.
Where applicable, this will include:
applicable taxes;
delivery charges; and
other unavoidable mandatory charges which can reasonably be calculated in advance.
Optional products or services will not be added without your active choice.
5. Orders
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.
A contract is formed when Jollyfish confirms that your order has been accepted.
We may be unable to accept an order where, for example:
an item is unavailable;
payment cannot be authorised;
delivery restrictions apply;
there is an obvious pricing or listing error; or
we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.
If payment has been taken for an order that we cannot accept, we will refund the relevant amount.
6. Pre-Orders
Where AquaMaestro products are offered for pre-order:
expected availability or dispatch information will be provided where reasonably possible;
estimated dates may change because of manufacturing, certification, testing, logistics or other circumstances; and
we will provide updated information where a material delay occurs and it is reasonably possible to do so.
Jollyfish customer advantage: an unfulfilled pre-order may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before dispatch.
7. Delivery
Delivery options, prices and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
Where no other delivery period has been agreed, we will comply with applicable UK consumer-law requirements concerning delivery.
Responsibility for goods passes in accordance with consumer law when they are delivered into:
your physical possession; or
the physical possession of a person you have identified to receive them.
8. AquaMaestro App and Digital Features
Depending on your product and available software, the AquaMaestro app may provide functionality such as:
product setup and configuration;
schedules and routines;
supported equipment control;
monitoring;
alerts;
data history;
Species & Plant Guidance; and
interaction with compatible modules.
Digital content supplied as part of a consumer contract must meet applicable requirements under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Where covered digital content does not conform to the contract, statutory remedies may include:
repair;
replacement; and
where the legal requirements are met, an appropriate price reduction.
9. Species & Plant Guidance
AquaMaestro Species & Plant Guidance is designed to help users review aquarium information in the context of selected fish, aquatic creatures and plants.
It may provide:
suggested target ranges;
aquarium feedback;
prompts;
alerts; and
recommendations based on available aquarium information.
Guidance is intended to support the aquarium keeper's decisions.
It is not a guarantee of:
animal health;
plant health;
water quality; or
a particular aquarium outcome.
Users should review recommendations before making significant changes to aquarium conditions.
Nothing in this section reduces Jollyfish's responsibility where applicable law makes us responsible.
10. Compatibility
Some AquaMaestro functionality may require:
compatible Jollyfish modules;
supported accessories; or
compatible third-party equipment.
Third-party equipment should only be treated as compatible where Jollyfish expressly confirms compatibility.
Jollyfish is not responsible for problems caused solely by:
incompatible third-party products;
unauthorised modifications; or
use outside published operating requirements.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
11. Installation and Safety
AquaMaestro products must be installed, configured, used and maintained in accordance with the instructions supplied.
Particular care should be taken with electrical products used around aquariums, including:
water exposure;
cable routing;
electrical ratings;
supported operating limits; and
equipment compatibility.
If we identify a safety issue affecting a product supplied to customers, we may contact affected customers and take appropriate corrective action.
12. Software and Connectivity
Some AquaMaestro features may depend on:
internet connectivity;
local networks;
cloud infrastructure;
compatible mobile devices;
third-party app platforms; and
software updates.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of:
maintenance;
security updates;
network failures; or
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This does not remove statutory rights applying to paid digital content or services.
13. Returns and Faulty Goods
Cancellation, return, refund and faulty-product rights are explained in the Jollyfish Return Policy.
The Return Policy forms part of these Terms but does not restrict your statutory rights.
14. Our Responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing excludes or limits:
statutory consumer rights;
liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where it cannot legally be excluded;
liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
any other liability which law does not permit us to exclude.
Jollyfish will not normally be responsible for losses caused solely by:
misuse;
accidental damage;
unsupported modification;
incompatible third-party equipment;
failure to follow supplied instructions; or
circumstances for which Jollyfish is not legally responsible.
15. Customer Support and Complaints
If you experience a problem with an order or AquaMaestro product, contact:
hello@jollyfi.sh
Where relevant, please include:
your name;
order number;
product concerned; and
a brief description of the issue.
We will aim to investigate complaints fairly and provide an appropriate response within a reasonable time.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms for future purchases where necessary to reflect changes to:
our products;
services;
operations; or
applicable law.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under an existing contract.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable UK law.
Consumers retain any mandatory rights and court protections available to them in the part of the United Kingdom in which they live.
